Description: Adult CPR trains individuals to recognize and respond to various life-threatening emergencies in adults including unconsciousness, choking, respiratory arrest, heart attack and cardiac arrest. Skills taught include checking for consciousness, airway, breathing and circulation, and administering abdominal thrusts, chest thrusts, rescue breathing and CPR. Certification is for 1 year. Other than a current or recently expired CPR certification there are no prerequisites. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
