Description: The Colorado Outdoor Training Initiative (COTI) will be hosting a number of Crew Leadership Workshops during the upcoming season (March-October 2007). We are currently in the process of establishing our training calendar. If you are interested in attending a workshop or hosting a training for your seasonal staff or volunteers, please contact us for more information. It^s easy to get involved! COTI^s standardized training program for trail crew leadership is a 16-hour workshop covering leadership techniques, tool and crew safety, and technical trail skills. All trainees will receive a Crew Leader Guide, copies of the Recommended Trail Terminology for Colorado, and other goodies that will make for a successful crew leadership experience. All training topics are directly applicable to any non-profit or agency trail maintenance or construction project! This workshop is best for individuals who have trail project and+++or crew leadership experience.
