Description: The Colorado Outdoor Training Initiative (COTI) will present an exciting standardized training program for crew leadership. This 16 hour workshop covers leadership, tool and crew safety, and technical trail skills. All trainees will receive a Crew Leader Guide, copies of the Recommended Trail Terminology for Colorado, and other goodies that will make for a successful crew leadership experience. All training topics are directly applicable to any non-profit or agency trail maintenance or construction project! This is a leadership workshop and is designed for individuals that have had experience working on trail projects or previous crew leadership experiences.
