Summary: Learn trail skills! Find out how to build and maintain your trails!
Description: The Colorado Outdoor Training Initiative (COTI) will present an exciting standardized trail skills training program in partnership with REI and Jefferson County Open Space. This 1-day (8 hour) workshop covers basic trail construction and maintenace skills along with tool and crew safety. All trainees will receive a Trail Skills Handbook, copies of the Recommended Trail Terminology for Colorado, and other goodies that will make for a fun, safe and successful experience. All training topics are directly applicable to any non-profit or agency trail maintenance or construction project! This is an introductory workshop and is best for individuals that have limited trail experience...but want to learn more!
