Description: The Colorado Outdoor Training Initiative (COTI) will present an exciting standardized training program for trail crew leadership in partnership with Colorado State Parks (CSP). This 16-hour workshop covers leadership techniques, tool and crew safety, and technical trail skills. All trainees will receive a Crew Leader Guide, copies of the Recommended Trail Terminology for Colorado, and other goodies that will make for a successful crew leadership experience. All training topics are directly applicable to any non-profit or agency trail maintenance or construction project. This workshop is best for individuals who have worked on trail projects or have some crew work+++leadership experience. Get trained to lead a trail crew!
