Summary: OSI-WRV-CFI will sponsor a rock skills seminar
Description: In this training, we^ll gather in the spectacular setting of a trio of 14,000-foot peaks near Breckenridge, CO (Mt. Lincoln, Democrat, and Bross). WRV is collaborating with the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative and the Outdoor Stewardship Initiative to bring you the best possible training in the basics of trail construction and maintenance. We^ll cover basic trail construction, drainage structures, rock steps, retaining walls, and more. This training offers a nice complement to the restoration and leadership skills emphasized at other WRV trainings and projects.
This training will be immediately followed by our Mt. Democrat and Bross trails and restoration project with Wildlands Restoration Volunteers on July 26 and 27 where you can put your new skills to work and continue to refine your trail expertise.
