Summary: WRA for campsites in Sangre De Cristo and LaGaritas
Description: The Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Colorado rank among the highest mountain chains in the world. Their attain extends from Poncha bypass, Colorado in the north to Glorieta bypass, New Mexico, in the south. These Colorado mountains assertion 10 peaks over 14,000 feet high and more than 2 dozen peaks of over 13,000 feet.
Theres stacks to do in the Sangre de Criso scope. Seemingly endless miles of world-status alpine climbing trails run throughout the millions of acres of the San Isabel, Rio Grande, Carson, and Santa Fe citizen Forests. The Sangre de Cristo, Wheeler point, Latir point, Pecos, and Spanish points citizen Wilderness Areas are also found in this scope. The Sangre de Cristo scope is home to some of the best swing climbing, flurry skiing and whitewater rafting in the US. The spot is prominent for its fly-fishing opportunities.
This mountain scope is also an important haunt for Colorado plants. The Trinchera elk herd found here is one of the large on Earth. pebbly Mountain Bighorn Sheep are found in the scope as well.
