Description: Learn how to plan and design a sustainable trail. This two day course is for individuals who are interested in learning successful tools and techniques for the assessment, planning, design and implementation of multiple-use trails, according to sustainability criteria. The training will be taught using a variety of classroom lecture and discussion, field exercises and demonstrations, and group activities. While this workshop is open to individuals with beginner to advanced trail design experience, attendees must have intermediate to advanced trail skills and familiarity with at least the basic principles of trail design and construction. This training is free. Camping will be provided in Rocky Mountain National Park. Meals will not be provided; attendees should plan accordingly.
