Students first harvested many tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower, and other vegetables for the Farmer's Market (taste testing for quality control along the way). They then removed all the plants from the beds, roots and all, then clipped them down to ensure they would compost well. After removing all the vegetation from the beds, the students turned and raked them in-so-that they will be ready to be planted again in the Spring. Students also created signs, set up tables, and prepared for the Youth Farmer's Market as well as weeded any areas of the garden that were in need of attention.
