The sandy texture of the paint deters beavers from chomping down the trees into the nearby creek - therefore, these enthusiastic youth volunteers helped protect and enhance a large section of the greenway by getting covered in paint! The worked in the heat of the day, painted almost 15 trees, and biked to and from their camp headquarters in the Park Hill neighborhood.
