Summary: This one day course will offer volunteers and crew leaders alike the chance to work on their transplanting, re-seeding and erosion control skills. Join us to enhance your ecological restoration skills.
Description:
Ecological restoration can be challenging in an environment that receives little to no precipitation throughout the year. Training participants will learn restoration and naturalization techniques useful in desert environments. Instructors will be teaching various techniques including; re-contouring, visual components of naturalization, erosion control, transplanting and re-seeding. The training will take place in the field allowing individuals to get hands on experience with each technique.
