Description:
Five team members and their coach traveled up to the Zapata Falls Recreation area to learn about trails and trail construction. The team will be using the new system for practice and competition. We spent the morning going over trail terms, tool use and bike specific trail characteristics. After lunch we practiced what we learned and built approx 300' of new trail. Eventually the team will be able to build and maintain the trails they use with out direct on the ground supervision of the BLM.
