Description: TRAINING SITE Rock steps are used in trail construction to allow for a quick elevation gain where grade standards would otherwise be exceeded. Steps help make the trail easier and safer to hike, and they help control erosion over the long term. Instrcutors will walk particpants through the step by step process of building rock steps. The training will consentrate on creating consistent slope, and sustainable tread.
