All trainees will receive a Crew Leader manual, a set of quick reference cards, and other materials that make for a successful crew leadership experience. Key Concerns or Comments from Staff or Volunteers:
Description of Accidents/Incidents: VOC had a great experience working with trails 2000. The mt bike group is focused primarily on trails directly in or on the outskirts of Durango. We were asked by Mary Monroe, the executive director, to emphasize volunteer leadership skills rather than hard skills.
At the conclusion of the project we received positive feedback from the participants and there is a possibility that we may execute another training in 2015.
