Summary: Join VOC for an exciting skills training on basic trail construction at Genesee Mountain Park.
Description:
A firm grasp of basic trail construction is the gateway to understanding more technical trail concepts such as trail design, drainage structures and trail closure. VOC's Outdoor Stewardship Institute's (OSI) instructors will walk registrants through our 6 step method of building a new trail. More importantly, instructors will break down how each step aids in the overall sustainability of the trail. Participants will leave the training with a working knowledge and understanding of how to construct a basic and sustainable trail.
