Start Date-End Date: 04/04/2014-04/05/2014 Land Manager Office: Land Manager Contact: Funding Partner: Programmatic Partner: Summary: Learn to be an instructor for Crew Leadership for Trails. Description: Become an instructor for VOC's Outdoor Stewardship Institute (OSI). OSI's standardized instructor training program is a workshop that teaches participants how to use the OSI curriculum and lesson plans to lead the OSI Crew Leadership for Trails workshop. All trainees will receive an instructor manual, copies of the Recommended Trail Terminology for Colorado, and other teaching tools. This workshop is recommended for individuals who have previously completed an OSI Crew Leadership for Trails workshop or are experienced volunteers with significant leadership, land stewardship and teaching experience. You will need to sign up for both the Friday evening and all day Saturday sessions. *Participants must be crew leaders with with VOC, an equivalent agency, or have significant field experience.
