Summary: Don't miss your chance to learn about volunteer crew management and trail crew leadership.
Description: This two-day training introduces the fundamentals of successful volunteer crew management for the construction and maintenance of sustainable trails. Through classroom sessions, field exercises and role playing, you'll learn leadership strategies and techniques, tool use, and safety. All trainees will receive a Crew Leader manual, a set of quick reference cards, and other materials that make for a successful and fun experience. All training topics are directly applicable to any non-profit, agency, trail maintenance, or construction project! This workshop is ideal for individuals who have prior crew leadership or trail project experience.
Additional payment and discount information:VOC/OSI trainings are offered for a nominal fee to cover materials and cost of instructors. They are limited in size to ensure their effectiveness and often fill quickly.Registrations are not solidified until payment is received in full.
Training cost is $80. Please note: meals are not included.
