Summary: Cherry Creek State Park recently completed a large stream bank restoration project. Volunteers are need to harvest and plant willow stakes to secure the bank and prevent erosion.
Description: Come out to volunteer at Cherry Creek State Park on Friday May 15th. Volunteers will harvest and plant willows. This section of stream was recently restored and the stream bank is in need of restoration efforts to protect against erosion. In addition to solidifying the stream bank, the willows will also help with water quality efforts. These efforts will help restore the park to a more natural state and prtect water quality.
