This was a very hard working and enjoyable group to work with. They never complained and I could hardly get them to stop working for lunch, practically dragging people off the trail. The weather was fantastic, with cloud cover preventing a hot day. We had a little bit of a late start as we waited for a couple of people, but other than that everything went very well. One aspect of the work that isn't reflected in the numbers but certainly had an effect was the transportation of materials from one work site to another. Volunteers took the excess material from the work on backslope and transported it in buckets to the other worksite where stairs were being constructed, traveling approximately 1,500 feet with heavy buckets of rock and soil. There number of buckets of material transported was probably in the 100s. Successes and Challenges: Successes: Food and logistics went well, work was of good quality and quantity. Volunteers were very happy with the experience. Ryan from Denver parks was happy with the work and easy to work with as always. Challenges: None. Lessons Learned: Special Notes: Stewardship Education: Key Concerns or Comments from Staff or Volunteers: Description of Accidents/Incidents: None Description of Work Completed:
