Project Summary: Dear Trainee,
Thank you for your interest in this year's Post-Fire Restoration Skills Training. Unfortunately, together with our partners at the Rocky Mountain Field Institute, Coalition for the Upper South Platte and the Flying W Ranch, we have determined to cancel this training for 2016.
Thanks in part to successful trainings over the past two years, there has been a great amount of work done by volunteers to restore the areas burned by multiple forest fires in Colorado. However, this success also means that there is much less work to accomplish, and shifting priorities for all the organizations involved in the training. Therefore, we've determined not to hold the training this year.
If you're interested in learning more about post-fire restoration through a volunteer project, VOC will be hosting a volunteer day in the Black Forest burn at Pineries Open Space in Colorado Springs on August 27th. Please let me know if you would like to register. You can also view additional training opportunities at http://www.voc.org/leadership-training-calendar
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions,
