The bench was dug out, and piles were staged for the group when they arrived. Park Manager Ben Pedrett didn't think the group would finish, due to their small size, but they knocked it out of the park! The group flew through the work and had the section of trail done by lunch time. A great day was had by all! Successes and Challenges: The group crushed the work! Park Manager Ben Pedrett had the bench dug and smaller piles staged along the trail, which made for quick work. The group worked swiftly -- they were a sales team and pretty competitive. We wouldn't have had enough work for a larger group, but it was perfect for their size! Lessons Learned: Staging the piles in the bench made for quick work! This group of 12 finished 2000 feet of trail in under 4 hours.
