Project Summary: VOC assisted Denver Mountain Parks with pulling off the front range Vail Epic Promise Day. Volunteers began construction of the new Mt. Vernon Creek trail at Red Rocks. 8 crew leaders came out from VOC staff and volunteers, 10 from Denver Mountain Parks and 11 trained as Crew Leader for a day from Vail.
Successes and Challenges: A lot of work went into this one. Emma spent more time than usual coordinating logistics with Anna from Vail. Dan performed a Crew Leader for a Day training with Vail, and they both spent 6 hours loading tools, as to ensure quick and efficient start to the day, all tools and to be put into 30 bundles for indivdual crews.
