Project Summary: On Friday, October 6th, 12 volunteers from KPMG came out to the Governor's Mansion with VOC and Grow Local Colorado to help with the final vegetable harvest of the season and to prepare the garden for winter. The volunteers harvested nearly 25 lbs of food and enjoyed learning fun and useful facts about gardening, cooking, and snails. They also removed all the plants for compost.

Special Notes: *The folks who volunteer at that garden full-time had already harvested a fair bit of the produce, so reminding Barbara from Grow Local, to ask that weeks or so before the project, that very little harvesting takes place to allow for the experience to be more rewarding. Especially for public projects and corportate SWATs.
