Description: 10-15 People from KPMG will do a take down harvest at Grow Local Colorado's garden plots located at the Govenor's Mansion. The volunteers harvested nearly 25 lbs of food and enjoyed learning fun and useful facts about gardening, cooking, and snails. They also removed all the plants for compost. Successes and Challenges: Lessons Learned: Special Notes: *The folks who volunteer at that garden full-time had already harvested a fair bit of the produce, so reminding Barbara from Grow Local, to ask that weeks or so before the project, that very little harvesting takes place to allow for the experience to be more rewarding.
