Successes and Challenges: Successes:
This SWAT was one of the most beautiful of the year. The Aspens were changing from green to yellow and we had a viewpoint to look over the city of Breckenridge and the ski mountain.
We completed all assigned work and were able to watch local trail crews fell about 7 large trees at the end of the project to close down an existing road.
Volunteers had a great time.
The weather was beautiful.
We had about 5 Breckenridge Trail Staff on hand as well as 2 staff from Summit County to help us in our work. This lead to very easy instruction and a 1 instructor to 2 volunteer ratio.
Challenges:
There weren't many challenges on this project. We changed the project a couple weeks out because the original project was completed (this was a good switch as we went to a much more beautiful area).
This was my third project in the same work week.
