Summary: Trainees will participate in and learn the steps behind building a proper turnpike.
Description: A turnpike is an elevated trail tread structure used to carry trails through wet or sensitive areas. Beef up your skill set by attending this training and become a turnpike guru. This training session will be held the Friday before the South Fork Trail Restoration project in Grand County on the USFS Sulphur Ranger District. Volunteers who will attend the project can take the training at no cost by contacting Dan Williams at dan@voc.org or 303-715-1010 ext. 117.
