Project Summary: Closed and re-seeded a 200 ft. section of trail near the Falls Trailhead Parking Lot (accessed by the west side entrance to Castlewood Canyon State Park) that was washed out due to alignment along a fall line. Volunteers also cut 360 feet of new trail as a reroute. The reroute was fairly level and aside from some pesky scrub oak roots and stumps, the vegetation wasn't too hard to cut away and so the work went quickly. Castlewood will have to return to pull the stumps out at a later date.
