Evans wilderness! Description: The Mt. Evans and Lost Creek Wilderness areas are the most accessible from Colorado's ever-growing urban centers. These Wilderness' have kept their remote feel and offers a variety of landscapes and stunning views in their vast expanse. Due to high use, volunteer assistance is critical to keep up with critical management tasks. In this 1-2 hour webinar, we'll cover how volunteers canhelp collect data on illegal and unsustainable campsites using the Survey123 app and tasks associated with closure and rehabilitation. Please note:Independent and group volunteer work in these Wilderness areas should only be undertaken in conjunction with an approved Forest Service cooperating group. As part of this training, we will discuss involved groups and how you can take part.
