Summary: Join Delta Dental and VOC at Cherry Creek State Park for and important fuels management project!
Description: The goal of the project is to clear out ladder fuels (undergrowth like shrubs and branches) that make fires grow hotter and stronger should a wildfire break out. Delta Dental employees would be clearing out Cottonwood and other trees' debris using loppers and hand saws and then chipping it all with a wood chipper. This is an important project for the park given the drought situation and the concerns over another severe fire season.
