Project Summary: After being previously canceled 30 minutes into their July project due to lightening and a torrentialdownpour, RevGen rescheduled their group to finish what they started. With 7 volunteers, we were able to tend and maintain to 4 garden beds (1000 sq. ft) and harvest a total of 72 lbs. of fresh produce. The produce went toMetro Caring, one of Denver's frontline anti-hunger organizations, and straight into their Fresh Food Market. This market can be accessed by those in need at no-cost, providing them with a week's supply of groceries, including fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, dairy and protein.
