Training Info
With online, classroom, and field-based components, this one-day training will teach you the skills you need to take care of your favorite trails independently or in small groups. Working with a group of less than 25 trainees and highly experienced instructors, you'll learn and practice topics related to trail tread and corridor maintenance, maintaining and constructing drainage features such as knicks and dips, as well as risk management, and tool safety.
Thanks to a partnership with Colorado Mountain College, this course will feature an online component prior to the workshop in order to maximize efficiency and on-the-ground coursework, making it easier and faster for volunteers, students, and professionals to obtain the skills necessary to effectively care for Colorado's natural resources.
Whether you're looking to adopt a trail on your own time or simply boost your trail-building knowledge, this training is appropriate for all skill and interest levels.
Deposit: $20. Your deposit will be refunded to you after attending the training.
