Tasks may include fuel wood reduction by hauling dead branches to a more accessible area where they can be moved out of the park or flower and seed removal of invasive biannual weeds.

Project Summary: great day with a great group. all 11 that were signed up showed up so a really great group to keep working with.
accomplished more than the land manager expected.
group focused on removing dead and down trees that have fallen due to disease or recent weather events. we worked on the southeast corner of the park that butts up to the Wolhurst Mobile Home Park for residents over 55. They have voiced concerns about fire so this project will work to reduce the fuels in the park near the mobile homes.
volunteer dragged dead and down branches to a central location where they will be picked up and chipped at a later date by park staff.
Successes and Challenges: everything was a success! a great group to work with and a great project parter. they want more groups in the future and the group wants to do another volunteer day next year.
