Join Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) for a summer social in Washington Park and invite your friends, family, or coworkers to join in on the fun as well!
This free event is open to everyone, and it's a great way to “try on” different volunteer roles, meet people passionate about caring for Colorado's outdoors, or catch up with old friends.
When: Thursday, August 7 | 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Where: VOC's Main Office, inside Washington Park
What to expect:
Find fun, interactive, stations with activities and information designed to give you a feel for what it's like to attend a VOC project (cookies included, of course!).
In the spirit of sustainability, we'll also be hosting a patch station and gear swap: You have the option to bring gently used outdoor gear to patch, trade, or donate! Please follow our guidelines on gear we will accept. We’ll have additional items available thanks to our friends at Kuhl. Unswapped items will be donated or added to our gear library.
Please drop off your gear in advance if possible; however, you may also bring it on the day of the event. Gear Drop-off Times:

Come see what it’s like to step into the shoes of a VOC volunteer and discover how your time and passion can help care for Colorado’s outdoor spaces.
No RSVP required (but encouraged for a reminder the day before).
Parking is available on nearby side streets.
