
Where You’ll Be:
Campo Esperanza is a newly developed park located in Greeley, CO. The park features approximately two miles of soft-surface trails for pedestrians and leashed dogs, along with whimsical art installations that carry meaningful messages. The nature-focused playground includes climbing areas, a giant slide for all ages, and native plants surrounding the space.
What You’ll Do:
Volunteers will contribute to the continued development and ecological restoration of Campo Esperanza. Tasks will include mulching, seeding, and planting native shrubs to enhance the park’s natural habitat. Additionally, volunteers will help create a log staircase for the playground, improving accessibility and adding to the park’s unique features.

By planting native species and enhancing the park’s ecological health, this project will help reclaim the area for native wildlife while providing a welcoming environment for residents. Eligibility Requirements:
Ages 12+
Youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older.
Project Difficulty:
This project includes a variety of tasks with difficulty levels ranging from easy to moderate, and some more physically demanding activities. Please check our difficulty rating criteria here for more details.
Physical Considerations:
Volunteers can expect to engage in planting and gardening, moving and installing large logs, and possibly painting. Some tasks may require bending, lifting, or working on uneven surfaces.
