Where You’ll Be:
Kick off the volunteer season with us at High Plains Environmental Center in Loveland, CO! Nestled between Equalizer Lake and Houts Reservoir, and surrounded by a cozy neighborhood, the center offers scenic views of water and native plant habitats. The garden area features an orchard, native flowers, and a thoughtfully designed landscape.
What You’ll Do:
Volunteers will focus on maintaining and improving the garden infrastructure, which is essential for the garden's health and longevity. Over time, the garden area experiences wear and tear from weather and regular use. Tasks will include repairing fencing and gates, and reinforcing garden beds and boxes to ensure the area remains functional and welcoming.
Please bring your own lunch for the day.
