
Where You’ll Be:
This project is a great opportunity for families to volunteer together and help Growing Gardens' farm start their season! With the famous Boulder Flatirons in the background, Growing Gardens has cultivated a space for local communities to learn about horticulture and sustainable agriculture practices.
What You’ll Do:
Volunteers will have the opportunity to choose from different tasks like preparing the ground for planting, transplanting seedlings, establishing pathways, helping in their pollinator garden, and more!
Please bring your own lunch for the day!
Why It Matters:
Your help will aid Growing Gardens in preparation for their field season, during which they provide a community space for people to experience agriculture on a local scale. Your work will also support their efforts to provide upwards of 2,000 lbs. of beautiful, locally grown produce to the community and partner food banks during the summer.
Eligibility Requirements:
Ages 8+
Youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older.
Project Difficulty:

Physical Considerations: Specific tasks include bending down/kneeling and shoveling material.
Access Factors:
Vehicle Access: Plenty of parking at their farm and street parking nearby in the neighborhood for any overflow.
