Where you'll be:
On this project, you’ll work on the scenic Cobalt Trail, offering views of Haystack Mountain, Boulder Reservoir, the distant Flatirons, and Bear Peak. Sightings of birds of prey soaring overhead are a highlight of this area.
What you'll do:
Join forces with approximately 50 volunteers and Boulder OSMP staff to construct a reroute of the Cobalt Trail.
Why it's important:
This reroute initiative aims to replace numerous high-density, low-quality trails with a single, sustainable path. Beyond sustainability, the Cobalt Trail will be redesigned to accommodate both mountain bikes and adaptive mountain bikes, marking a significant expansion of trail access. Join us in creating a safer, more inclusive, and environmentally sustainable Cobalt Trail experience.
