Where you'll be:
This project is a great opportunity for families to volunteer together and help Growing Gardens' farm start their season! Come out to help with field preparation, weed clearing, transplanting, infrastructure work, and other miscellaneous tasks.
What you'll do:
Volunteers will have the opportunity to choose from different tasks like installing irrigation systems, planting seedlings, weeding, preparing the ground for planting, helping in the greenhouse, and more!
Why it's important:
Your help will aid Growing Gardens in getting ahead of their field work and provide a community space for people to experience agriculture on a local scale. Your work will also support their efforts to provide beautiful locally grown produce to the community and partner food banks during the summer.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Ages 8+
All youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older.

Vehicle Accessibility: Plenty of parking on-site and street parking.
Other notes: All worksites are accessible and in easy to navigate terrain. All gender bathrooms available. Volunteers will be able to take breaks in the pavilion in the shade. Water fountains are available as well.
