Summary: Adopt-a-Habitat volunteers will work to protect the ecosystem at Chatfield State Park by removing thistle and mullein.
Description: Chatfield State Park, in the south Denver metro area, provides an urban retreat with abundant natural areas and recreational options. The Park's healthy native ecosystems are being threatened by thistle and mullein, invasive species that outgrow native plants and reduce wildlife habitat. Spend one or more days enjoying volunteer fellowship while helping to eradicate these noxious weeds.
