Summary: Youth volunteers will maintain and reroute a portion of a high-use trail at Lory State Park
Description: Join VOC's Youth Advisory Board for our fifth annual overnight trail building project! We return to Lory State Park after having completed work on the Timber Trail renovation in 2005. This year, 50 youth volunteers will spend the weekend rerouting Arthur's Alternate Trail. Upon completion, the trail will re-open to hikers, bikers, and equestrians. In addition to the trail construction and maintenance work, youth will participate in fun environmental education and team-building activities. Don't miss this safe and well-organized opportunity for young volunteers to enjoy Colorado's outdoors, make new friends, and give back to our public lands.
