Start Date-End Date: 04/21/2006-04/21/2006 Land Manager Office: Land Manager Contact: Funding Partner: Programmatic Partner: Summary: Volunteers will assist Project Team with plant placement and event prep for April 22 Earth Day project Description: St. Vrain State Park is establishing a complex system of wetlands, grasslands, and ponds to create lush native habitat and improve the quality of the St. Vrain watershed. VOC is celebrating Earth Day on April 22nd with a mega project planting trees, shrubs, and wetland plants at St. Vrain State Park. Help is needed however on Friday, April 21st to assist in preparing the site for the 400 volunteers on Saturday. Preparations begins at 9am and goes until 7pm (attendance for the entire day is not required). The work will entail a multitude of various tasks. Come on out and help set the stage for VOC's biggest project of the season!
