Summary: Help remove invasive weeds from Broomfield's Great Western Reservoir Open Space.
Description: Knapweed: a dirty eight-letter word; responsible for leaving the land useless for recreation, wildlife habitat, agriculture, or livestock. Most knapweeds are non-native to North America. They were brought to North America following the immigrant trail from Europe and Asia. Help rid this aggressive, invasive species from the Great Western Reservoir Open Space in Broomfield with the help of other youth volunteers. Your hands will ensure that others will continue to experience the beauty of Broomfield's natural environment and be able to walk or bike to a variety of destinations.
