Summary: Convert a scenic hiking trail so that it can be used by people with mobility impairments.
Description: The Ute Trail is located near the summit of Flagstaff Mountain, just minutes from downtown Boulder and is part of the City of Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) system. It offers spectacular views of the Indian Peaks and wildflowers and wildlife are abundant in the area. Citizens of Boulder have indicated this trail is a priority desire for people with mobility impairments. This youth project will convert an already existing hiking trail into one that is also accessible for the mobility impaired. Join other youth volunteers and create the only accessible trail of any length in the Mountain Parks portion of the OSMP system!
