Summary: A good project for families with children 12 and older, bird watchers and nature photographers.
Description: As the Blue River reaches Green Mountain Reservoir, 30 minutes north of Silverthorne, it creates and feeds a lush wetland. This area is a birders paradise and because of easy access, sees many human visitors. Fragile, wildlife rich wetlands suffer if human traffic is not directed. Join volunteers and help create a low impact, sustainable trail so that visitors can experience the wetland and its wildlife with minimal impact. Be sure to bring your camera and field glasses.
