Summary: Comcast employees and their families will come out to Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield and build a new access trail.
Description: As part of Comcast Cares Day, VOC and Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield are happy to offer a great volunteer experience for Comcast employees and their families! This spring Denver Botanic Gardens is installing the Deer Creek Discovery children's area. The area has been designed to encourage passive, non-formal outdoor interaction with nature through imaginative and physical play. Features will include a tree house and a water feature which will include both ponds and a stream.
As part of this new feature, volunteers will build a 1500 foot access trail from the parking lot to this new area, as well as help clean up old brush and trees in preparation for the construction of the area. Come out to Chatfield, enjoy a beautiful spring day at the base of the foothills and have fun getting dirty!
