Description: Crew leaders are needed to lend a hand to the Scout Camporee event on National Public Lands Day. Scouts and crew leaders will be constructing a new 1700 foot long accessible, non-motorized use trail, between West and Dowdy Lakes near Red Feather Lakes. Crew leaders and scout groups will also be working to resotre twin social trails along a moderately steep drainage connecting West and Dowdy Lakes. This is also a special project for the Forest Service. The trail grant is being made possible by the ARP Foundation to honor the late founding chair, Howard Alden, whose passion really kick started the Foundation a couple of years ago.
