Summary: Great for anyone 12 and over. Camp with friends and family on an amazing fall gateway.
Description: Wrap up the Classics season at this amazing project in Southwestern Colorado. The Piedra River trail at Navajo State Park will stir your imagination with its beautiful river views and cultural heritage. Located just north of the confluence of the Piedra and San Juan Rivers, the Piedra River Trail will eventually connect the Park's visitor center with a Watchable Wildlife area and interpretive platform above the Piedra River. VOC volunteers will initiate the construction of the trail's last five miles, a priority for the Park since 2005. Car and van pooling will be organized and encouraged to reduce this project's carbon footprint.
Take a VOC vanpool to this project and save on gas!
