Summary: This one of six different trails for this project. Sign up for the trail that most interests you! Appropriate for anyone 16 and over who can work at altitude. Experience on a trail project is helpful but not necessary. Six crews, on six different trails, in one great wilderness, on one day...what a great way to make a difference. The Mt Evans Wilderness is just 30 minutes from over 2 million people and its trails need your help.
Description: Traveling along West Chicago Creek for about a mile, the trail climbs at a steady pace through a large grove of aspen trees. The second and third miles are rocky but less steep. When the trail ends at Hell's Hole, the area opens to a meadow where alpine willows grow at the base of Gray Wolf Mountain.

This innovative project combines the responsiveness of an adopt work day with the impact of a large scale project. VOC will partner with Friends of Mt Evans and Lost Creek Wilderness to field six crews, at least one all women, to do trail maintenance and restoration. Improve your skills and learn how to lead an adopt-a-trail day.
