How about camping at an historic ranch, in the shadow of the Great Sand Dunes and some of Colorado's most majestic 14ers? How about building a trail for your fellow citizens? Bring your family and your energy to The Nature Conservancy's Zapata Ranch in the San Luis Valley. Join the fun and help construct an interpretive trail system to provide public access to unique lands that contain a stone-age bison-kill site, and a prehistoric Native American camp. Gain a sense of accomplishment as your family enables future visitors to reconnect with nature and explore the history of this unique part of Colorado. *Take a VOC vanpool to this project and save some gas!
