Summary:
Description: The South San Juan Wilderness bighorn sheep count is quickly approaching, with the actual count taking place August 27th. For the less accessible locations, August 26th and 28th will be travel days. Please contact Rob Santoro, at 719.852.6267 or rob@voc.org, if you or any of your friends will be available to help us out with this important project! The information gained during this count is a critical need for the Forest Service and coincidentally the work is pretty cool too, so please be prepared to hike in some gorgous surroundings and keep your eyes pealed for this endangered animal.
