Summary: Help us ensure we have complete and accurate information about local roads and trails
Description: **Please note - This is an informational posting and does not require registration. Meetings are open to the public and no RSVP is required. If you have questions about these workshops please call 970-244-3000 or e-mail gjfo_webmail@blm.gov
The BLM Grand Junction Field Office has started revising its land-use plan, which will address and could change how we are currently managing access, roads and trails.
The revision will take several years, but we need your help now to ensure we have complete and accurate information about the roads and trails within the Field Office boundaries.
We also want to hear how you are currently using these roads and trails. Do you have any ideas for re-routes or additional routes? Now is a good time to tell us!
Please join us at one of the travel management workshops below. They will be hands-on, roll-out-the-maps and get-to-business workshops.
A draft plan revision - which will include a range of potential alternatives - will be available for public review and comment next year. We currently expect the final revision to be complete in 2011.
Get involved early to have the most influence on how your public lands are managed! Deadline for comments is March 20, 2009.
The workshops will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the dates and locations below:
